The Role
All Interviewers are commission paid Independent Contractors. You can work flexibly and manage your own workload, but we are looking for Interviewers who have flexibility with daytime, evenings and weekend availability. The ability to accommodate participant availability is critical to success in this role.
Interviewers must also be available for 30+hrs per week and be able to treat this as their main role.
As a Community Research Interviewer at Ipsos you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of New Zealand. You will encourage participation in public policy surveys and engage with selected households through scripted interviews face to face (typically 30-40 minutess per interview).
We set you up to succeed with comprehensive preparation, tailored systems, guidance, and on-going support from experienced regional field leads.
We are specifically recruiting in Wellington for interviewers who can deliver on long-term continuous surveys that provide vital information to develop public policy development and services. Please include your specific location on your application.
We are currently recruiting for the New Zealand Crime and Victim Survey, conducted on behalf of the Ministry of Justice. This is the most comprehensive source of data on adult victims of crime in Aotearoa New Zealand. The survey provides information about people who experience crime and how patterns of victimisation in New Zealand vary by region and demography.

Hours and Renumeration
Interviewers are paid per interview. Earnings vary across interviewers and regions; bonus rates apply for higher response rates. There is generous reimbursement for travel, and all necessary equipment is provided. More information will be provided if invited to screening.
