  • About the Role:
    • This position is essential in the follow up stage of the MBIE Business Operations Survey, aimed at increasing the survey's response rate through targeted follow-up with non-responding businesses.
    Core Responsibilities:
    • Contact Non-Respondents: Call business contacts from provided sample who have not completed the survey.
    • Encourage Participation: Provide professional explanations regarding the survey's purpose and significance to encourage participation.
    • Conduct Interviews:  Guide respondents through survey questions and accurately document their responses in the computer-assisted system.
    • Answer Inquiries: Address any participant concerns about survey confidentiality, purpose, or duration.
    Key Requirements & Qualifications:
    • Availability for the CATI calling period from 25 May 2026 until 17 June 2026.  
    • Professional Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication and professional phone manner. 
    • Resilience and Persuasion: Capable of handling rejection and persisting in securing participation.
    • Technical Proficiency: Must be comfortable with computer and telephone systems. 
    • Attention to Detail: High accuracy in listening and response recording is essential.
